A certificate program provides instruction, training and individualized assessment (non-degree granted) in a specialty area of practice or set of skills. This is an excellent business model for established coaches, consultants and service-based agencies who want to increase their impact + revenue without losing the close relationship with their clients/students. If you have a proven process or a successful digital product you can expand your business by training + certifying people in your own method. Think how Gallup certifies their coaches or how platforms like Canva offer training tracks to become certified advisors.
A signature course is a shorter container where powerful + focused learning happens minus the assessment/individualized feedback component. There are usually no prerequisites to join and no certificate is extended at completion.
